Country trail that ends at Garth Run Creek. Easy walk of 1 1/2 miles. You pass by a 1700 circa cemetery. See the old country plants, flowers and creek beds of the Garth Run Creek and Kinley Hollow. This area is the southern part of the Garth Run Mountain Range. Imagine this location in times of Revolutionary and Civil War activities providing a perfect defense from the attacking armies. The late fall and winter walking on this trail shows how the soldiers may have defended the area. Possible mountainside bunkers could have provided sharp shooters to defend an entire pathway effectively.
Very nice country walk with easy pace.
